I wonder who else will be looking for attorneys at low paralegal rates for this new “potential” project:
De Novo Legal has a potential project starting in our Houston office.
This project will last approximately 3-6 months and will require 8-10 hours a day Monday through Friday. The pay rate for this project will be $23.00/hr.
To qualify for this opportunity, applicants must have a J.D. from an accredited law school. A current license is NOT required.
Licensed attorneys will also be accepted, but the pay rate will be the same.

I had heard about it a while back and was trying to get some corroboration with my Who-the-heck-knows-how-to-run-a-review-these-days post. Anyway, it’s sad to see a Houston center get trashed like that on Tom’s site, but it “is what it is” … something Fernette would laugh at.

I left that project at De Novo. It was as bad as the post on Tom the Temp makes it sound.
