The night shift on the project over at EQD was discontinued last week (about 15 reviewers let go). The next day they started releasing day shift people. That one is about to end in a couple of weeks.

As for other projects Synergy/Huron may have a few coming up, and possibly a couple from Donovan Watkins, but haven't heard of much else.

Hi,
I am a contract attorney in NYC and have followed this blog for a while now due to my interest in moving to Houston. You provide some valuable info.

I've been looking for some people who are familiar with the market in Houston to answer some questions, if you have the time and would be so willing.

In exchange, I'd be happy to share some info on the NY market or help out in another way if you would like.

My email address is nyc.counsel at gmail. I hope to hear from you.

Of course not, but it's just one more way to narrow the field considering the glut of attorneys out there competing for projects.

Thanks for the responses that I got to this. Sorry I wasn't able to help out. Ended up not being as big of a need as was originally thought.

Thanks for letting me know that the admin email was busted. I have it up and running now. Let me know if you're interested!!!

We had the first administrative call on the project today, and there were a ton of vendors on the call, one law firm, only one academic team I could make out, and I want professional coders to show what they're made of!

I had heard about it a while back and was trying to get some corroboration with my Who-the-heck-knows-how-to-run-a-review-these-days post. Anyway, it's sad to see a Houston center get trashed like that on Tom's site, but it "is what it is" ... something Fernette would laugh at.

Any way we (or really you) can start a list of jobs, hourly pay, overtime option, benefits, and location, of Houston-area contract jobs, like on other contract attorney blogs? Would be nice to see what our brother/sister contract attorneys are making and how much they are working.
